Human Capital Consulting Leaders with M&A Experience

We are conducting a search for a strategy advisory practice within a well-established human capital consulting firm. Our client has a particular need for managers, senior managers or associate partners with specific experience in compensation design with M&A situations. Consultants will work with companies and their senior leadership to optimize their business strategies through organizational design and development, particularly as a result of a company event such as a merger or acquisition. Through the utilization of benchmarking analytics the firm assists companies in understanding various human capital components ranging from leadership capabilities, compensation levels, benefit structures, employee performance incentives and training programs. Our client is seeking qualified management consultants or seasoned HR professionals with an emphasis in human capital strategy coupled with a specific emphasis on one or more areas in HR in M&A types of engagements. Experience in high tech would also be a plus. Our client will consider candidates in any location and has a specific need in the West Region.

Candidate should have 5+ years of experience within a consulting firm environment, be open to travel and eager to be part of helping to grow the practice in terms of thought ware, talent and business development.

New Opportunities in Health Care Consulting –VP level

We are working with a new client who is a market leader in post-acute and long term care. The client has both a consulting groups as well as a managed services practice. Their client base includes not only long term care facilities, but health systems, hospitals, and acute care facilities. The client is looking to fill two roles at the VP level:

VP of Post-Acute Care
A leadership role in consulting focused on driving new opportunities in the post acute and senior services space. The firm currently has projects in completing operations assessment, benchmarking, market demand studies, work flow analysis, feasibility studies and strategic planning. Specific experiences that the client is seeking include:
• Clinical leader from Long-term-care industry
• Prefer RN and Licensed NH Administrator
• Recognized industry profile thru speaking engagements & published white papers
• Rainmaker for PAC business segment. C-suite focus
• Must have prior consulting experience in recent career history
• Consult with Acute Care Systems and LTC providers re: post-acute strategy and implementation
• Must possess bachelor’s degree. Masters preferred

VP of Innovative Payment Transformation
This is a new role for the client and is not just reimbursement. They are looking for someone who is working in emerging areas around bundled payments and managing trends in post-acute environments. This role will have business development and practice building responsibilities.
• Expertise around CMS payment reform, i.e.
• Bundled payment initiatives
• Medicaid Managed care
• Fee for Value initiatives
• Must have prior consulting experience in recent career history
• Rainmaker for PAC care business segment. C-suite focus
• Must possess bachelor’s degree. Masters preferred
Candidates for either role must have experience in a consulting firm environment in addition to any clinical type roles. Candidates must have excellent client relationship and business development capabilities to help the firm reach it growth goals. While relocation to Minneapolis is preferred, the client will also entertain great candidates who can’t move, but are willing to travel. Travel is 50 to 75% in both roles.

COO of Consulting Firm Role

COO of a Global Consulting Firm: This role will lead all the operations of a 4,000 person consulting firm and must have experience in a Big 4 or similar type firm in managing at P&L, determining talent and resource needs, coordination of services, negotiations and contracts with 3rd party vendors/partners and assisting the managing director of the consulting firm in planning and reporting. This would be a good role for a retired partner, or someone who would like to limit their travel for a couple of years. The managing director would like a two year commitment to stay in this role before returning to any line consulting or practice leadership. Can be located anywhere, but preference would be East of the Mississippi.

Global Technology Leadership Role

Global Technology Practice Leader–This role will be responsible for combining and leading a series of smaller practices focused on technology and infrastructure, including IT infrastructure, CIO advisory, data warehousing, business intelligence and analytics, application services and others. This role will assist in creating a new delivery model for these practices that allows more seamless delivery and a unified message to potential clients at the CIO level. Candidates must have been a partner or practice leader in a Big 4 or similar type firm leading a practice of close to $100M in revenue. This will be a role that has a great deal of responsibility and leadership in driving results from this new business unit. The role will report directly the global leader of the entire consulting practice.
